Ashoka Fellowship: a fellowship for social entrepreneurs with innovative ideas that transform the society’s systems; list of countries.

Grid.Lab: accelerating energy transition and to support all parties involved in the changing energy field in Scandinavia.

MATTER: a membership-based incubator and an accelerator for healthcare startups at all stages of growth by creating access to learning and development opportunities, capital and customers and a dynamic community; Chicago roots and global reach with many of the members from outside the US.

Founders Factory: accelerating exceptional founders solving global problems using technology; the focus programs include Home&Hygiene accelerator.

Baltic Sandbox: Women in Tech, empowering female founders and supporting Women in Tech globally.

The Female Founders Lab: Pitch Labs for female founders with ideas/ventures impacting society.

Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation: looking for social entrepreneurs with dynamic ideas to provide them with 3 years of unrestricted capital (totaling $300,000) and provide rigorous on-going support by joining their board of directors for the 3 years and partnering with the leader to help them to build capacity in their organization and scale their impact.

May 17th – June 1st:

GLG: Social Impact Fellowship, supported people tackling the world’s most important challenges (May 19th).

TWAS Elsevier Foundation: Project Grants for Gender Equity and Climate Action, awarding teams of 2-5 women for action-based projects which, although scientific in nature, will take them outside the lab to promote practical and tangible change under the umbrella of the “climate action” SDG in their local context (May 19th).

UNESCO: Prize awarding US$ 50,000 annually to two laureates making outstanding efforts in favour of girls’ and women’s education (May 20th).

OceanHub Africa: OceanHub Africa Acceleration Program, a six-month online acceleration program to support up to six of Africa’s most promising impact-for-profit startups focused on preserving and restoring the health of the ocean (May 22d).

Luc Hoffmann Institute, the IUCN Commission on Environmental, Economic and Social Policy and Impact Hub: a global challenge to drive innovation and support solutions that proactively address the deep-rooted issues facing conservation non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and help build a just, inclusive and regenerative future (May 22d).

GET.invest: connecting projects and companies focusing on renewable energy and energy efficiency with financiers (May 24th).

VC4A: Venture Showcase Africa – Women founder edition, Calling for investor-ready scale-ups looking to raise between $250K and $10M (May 27th).

TFF Foundation: a 6-week challenge period with curated, on-demand digital content, weekly entrepreneurship, and topic-related live sessions that feature industry leaders and successful agrifood tech startups, and 24/7 support access  (May 28th).

Wikimedia Deutschland, Wikimedia Serbia, Impact Hub Belgrade: UNLOCK Accelerator, calling on change makers, activists, technologists and creative minds from the German-speaking region and the Western Balkans (May 29th).

Global Changemakers: awarding grants of 2,500 USD to projects working towards the Sustainable Development Goals in selected states across the United States and Canada (May 29th). 

Pes Latam: The First Latam Impact Unicorn Generation, helping some of Latam’s most promising and fast-growing impact ventures become the first ‘Latam Impact Unicorns’ (May 31st).

ITU: AI4Good Innovation Factory Africa Challenge, seeking to identify the most innovative ideas and start-ups using AI to achieve the SDGs (May 31st).

DBS Foundation: SME Grant Programme aiming to empower and enable SMEs from Singapore, Indonesia, India, Hong Kong and Taiwan to become businesses that create social and environmental impact (May 31st).

EIT Health: Patient Innovation Bootcamp, supporting the development and launch of innovative solutions created by people directly affected by health conditions (May 31st).

Toyota Ventures: looking to invest in promising companies that are creating technologies to enable smarter, flexible, connected factories that will amplify people and improve efficiency and sustainability (May 31st).

VALUE4HER Connect: Women Agripreneurs of the Year Awards, recognizing African women agripreneurs who have excelled in the agricultural value chain and have demonstrated remarkable innovation in their businesses by having an impact on food security, climate resilience, women, and youth empowerment (May 31st).

Mirova: Nature+ Accelerator Fund, supporting nature-based innovative solutions to mitigate and adapt to climate change whilst delivering positive impacts both on biodiversity and the wellbeing of local communities (May 31st).

Women In Africa, Coca-Cola Foundation: JAMII Femmes Initiative, aiming to increase the impact of African women entrepreneurs on the African economy and supporting the creation of innovative solutions for sustainable development that will contribute to positive change in Africa by improving the quality of life of tens of thousands of people (May 31st).
